Welcome to the Sandoval County Geographic Information System (GIS) Department. Listed below are links to our data. The GIS Department Acronym Table is a list of the major departments and their acronyms. The GIS Data Layer Table is a listing of available data. Data can be downloaded directly from this table. The attributes are a DBF file. They can be downloaded into Excel 2007 (an older version might work). Access has a hard time with them. The shapefiles(.shp) are created in Arcview and you must have a GIS software to view it. There are several files associated with each shapefile. All associated files are in the ZIP file and must be kept together in order for the shapefile to be opened. The CAD data was created in Microstation (.dgn). It can also be viewed in Autocad and Arcview with cad reader extension turned on. Large files can take a long time to download. The FTP Site also contains data. Please follow the instructions.
