Call the County Burning Advisory Line, 867-4581 or 800-898-2876 for information. All other burning will require a permit that is available by calling the County Fire Department, 867-0246 or 888-696-3473. The County Fire Department, 867-0245, can be contacted to report violations of State Environmental Health Standards prohibiting burning of household garbage at any time of the year. SCFD also can provide information required from homeowners by insurance companies or schedule appointments with homeowners for safety inspections and conduct investigations under the authority of the State Fire Marshal’s Office. | CALL 911 for ANY and ALL emergencies anywhere in Sandoval County. The County is entirely served by the 911 system for sheriff, police, fire, medical and ambulance emergency dispatch. In most areas, calls go directly to the multi-agency Sandoval County Regional Communications Center that dispatches law enforcement, fire and emergency response agencies Countywide. Calls are linked with the County addressing system to provide responders with specific directions to your location. Remember, however, that cellular telephone callers should always specify their locations. |
