How to apply for a job with Sandoval County
Available positions are posted on the Sandoval County website, on the New Mexico Workforce Connection website www.jobs.state.nm.us, via our Job Line: 505-771-7185 and in the Human Resources & Risk Management Office located at 1500 Idalia Road, Building D, Room 1077. Some positions may also be advertised in the Albuquerque Journal or professional publications. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. excluding recognized holidays.
Applications are accepted for advertised positions only. In order to be considered for employment, applicants must submit a completed Sandoval County Application for Employment for each position in which they are interested by 5:00 p.m. on the advertised closing date. Applications are accepted via email personnel@sandovalcountynm.gov, facsimile (505-867-9365), mail and in person at the Human Resources & Risk Management Office.

Interviews of qualified applicants are conducted by the hiring division. Dependent upon the number of applications submitted and the number of interviews scheduled, the screening and hiring process make take from two weeks to over a month. On average, applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications for a position will receive notice in one to two weeks after the job posting closes. Applicants who are interviewed, but not selected will receive a notice from Human Resources and Risk Management regarding selection at the conclusion of the process.
