The mission statement of the Sandoval County DWI & Prevention Program is to provide culturally sensitive and age-appropriate prevention and intervention activities, provide compliance and treatment services to offenders and to work to reduce underage drinking, DWI crashes and fatalities by providing Designated Driver services and law enforcement operations throughout Sandoval County.

The DWI Program is an Adult Misdemeanor Court Compliance program geared toward offenders that have been court ordered to the program. The offenders referred consist of primarily DWI's, Battery, Assault, and Battery on Household Member convictions. The Judges also sentence other offenders that may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of their arrest. The DWI Program has Court Compliance Officers that will guide the offender to successfully comply with the sanctions ordered by the courts. The Court Compliance Officers will monitor the compliance of the offender and report directly to the courts.

The Sandoval County DWI and Prevention Program Staff
The SCDWI Compliance Staff consists of the Executive Administrator, Compliance Supervisor, Court Compliance Officers, Administrative Screener, In-house counselors, Treatment Receptionist, Preventionist and Finance Coordinator.
